The text is an attempt to show the poetic context of the question “Where are you, source?” from the Roman Triptych. The question about the source, according to the findings contained in the article, is in fact not limited to the framework of only one work by Wojtyła. If you read the Triptych as a summa of thoughts of the author already standing on the brink of life, as a kind of farewell, containing in a condensed form the most important message regarding all the most important issues crucial to the thoughts of Wojtyła and John Paul II, thoughts about God, about man, about eternity, about the Church and creation, and about the last things.
