Moral conversion as a path to reconciliation in the magisterium of Saint John Paul II

The article shows that the John Paul II’s teaching on the organic connection between moral conversion and sacramental reconciliation draws on biblical sources and theological tradition. John Paul II continued the magisterium of his predecessor Paul VI, countering the confusion prevailing in moral theology and in the practice of the sacrament of Holy Confession.
