Between Activity and Passivity. Research on Youth’s Political Participation in Poland

The key category in the article is political activity and passivity. In the first section, based on the quantitive data published in the nation-wide reports, I present the crucial findings concerning the forms, the patterns and the level of polictical engagement among young Polish people. The second sectionincludes the descripton of my own qualititive research carried out by the means of the projective test. According to collected written responses, I have pointed out the reasons of selecting the non-involvement strategy incase of facing the pessimistic threat scenario.
