Dialogue as the main category of theological thinking of Fr. Łukasz Kamykowski

This resulted from the experience of the 20th century, and especially from the important event – not only for the Catholic Church, but also for all Christianity – which was the Second Vatican Council. The theologian sees dialogue as an experience, a process taking place not only at the verbal level, but also at the level of attitudes, which is a mutual exchange of gifts. God in the Holy Trinity has entered a dialogue with humanity through revelation. The vocation of believers is to begin this dialogue with God. His stake is to establish a living relationship with Him. And when that happens, the believer should continue this dialogue with others. The concept of dialogue is the basic category of thinking, which is the key to understanding Kamykowski’s work and allows to systematize it.
