Synopsis
The chapter discusses the phenomenon of hallucinations in generative models, which are increasingly used in media and communication. It explains what hallucinations are, their causes and consequences, and how they can be mitigated. Special emphasis is placed on security aspects, both informational and legal. The text is based on a conference presentation and current scientific publications and contains practical recommendations for the media.
