Synopsis

The monograph “Radiating Goodness” is an academic study of the life and spirituality of Blessed Sister Klemensa Staszewska OSU. Based on previously unpublished archival sources, including spiritual notes and witness accounts, the book presents the Ursuline sister’s life path: from childhood, through her work as a teacher, to entering the convent at the age of 31. The authors analyze her mystical union with God and her cooperation with spiritual directors, including Fr. Józef Andrasz SJ. A significant period of her life was World War II, when, as a superior in Rokiciny Podhalańskie, she provided help to those in need. For her actions, she was arrested by the Gestapo and imprisoned in, among other places, Auschwitz, where she died. Blessed Klemensa emerges as a person full of gentleness, radiating love for people. The publication has both an academic and evangelizing dimension, inspiring readers to deepen their own spiritual lives.
