Synopsis

Family support services, included in the catalogue of available social assistance measures, have been in operation for over ten years. During this period, the legal framework governing these services has evolved, and standardized document templates and guidelines have been developed to streamline professional practice, while the underlying commitment to assisting families in difficult situations has remained constant. This article examines the provision of family support by analysing the documentation produced by a family assistant in one of the municipalities located near Krakow.
