This text serves as a preliminary research overview concerning the issue of foreign studies undertaken by Polish Carmelites of the Ancient Observance. As such, it constitutes a starting point for a more detailed study of this topic, which will be supplemented with the results of research conducted in October 2024 at the General Archive of the Carmelites in Rome.
