Synopsis

The Lord Jesus, appearing to St Faustina Kowalska, says several times that sinners are entitled to His mercy before others. Some people find these words unjust, because they think that God loves as they love. Meanwhile, God’s mercy towards sinners is an expression of His unlimited love for man. God does not judge people by their behaviour, but looks at the heart of man. Therefore, Sister Faustina’s desire is to convince everyone to discover the truth of God’s infinite love towards every human being. To this end, the truth should be proclaimed bringing hope to sinners so that they should not be afraid to approach Jesus, even if their sins are like scarlet. Furthermore, those who have experienced God’s mercy should seek to enter into a higher degree of union with Christ knowing that the state of sinfulness is not a normal state of being.
