Companionship, proximity, change in family assistance
Synopsis
The family assistant is seen as a person who is inextricably linked to change, not necessarily the change expected by the family or the representatives of the institutions with whom the assistant works on behalf of a particular family. Introducing oneself to the family, being there, participating in daily life can lead to openness, closeness and change or, on the contrary, to irritation, distancing and blaming for not achieving the expected results. The article tries to show the work of the family assistant in the context of closeness and consent to change.
