Synopsis

The serious situation of modern man’s confusion is becoming a challenge for the study of the Church. It involves some changes in the ecclesiology practiced. Namely, it is to be a Trinitarian ecclesiology, which takes into account all three divine persons and their action in the process of formation and fulfillment of the Church, both in its genesis, nature and mission. This makes it possible to bring out and take into account its mysterious and sacramental character. As a result, ecumenical dialogue gains its serious doctrinal basis and, at the same time, reconciled Christians can exercise their ministry to others more credibly. The communio-communication character of the Trinity even urges a commitment to the visible unity of the Church. It is also worth noting that the loving relationship of the Trinity is a model and extension of the spousal love of marriage and family, and the Church lives out of the family and for the family. Here ecclesiology is combined not only with trinitarianism, but also with anthropology. Thanks to this, the internal mission of the community of believers to itself, but also its external mission to the world becomes authentic and effective. The doctrine of the Church today must more definitively take on a human face, so that in its outward manifestation the community of Christians will decisively move away from excessive manifestations of institutions or callous clericalism.
