Faith and Reason in Knowledge
Synopsis
The notion of revelabile is necessarily connected with the theological problem, but because revelabile refers to that form of revealed knowledge (revelatum), which man is able to acquire by reason, then by perceiving the world through the human mind, one can perform a comparison of values, methods, and purpose that were known by faith in Revelation. The intellectual tradition of the Roman Church had been denied in Luther’s theological doctrine. The conflict is not only of historical importance but is still present in the relationship of contemporary Europeans to the world of things, people, and ideas.
