„Katechizacja w drodze”, czyli turystyka religijna i pielgrzymowanie z perspektywy katechetycznej

The aim of this article is to discuss the role of religious tourism and pilgrimage as a complement to school catechesis based on the teaching of Father Professor Maciej Ostrowski. The conditions and ways of organizing trips, pilgrimages and course trips will be presented. There will also be a mention of necessary elements favourable to religious tourism and pilgrimages serving the comprehensive development of catechized people, and first of all, realising the fundamental goal of catechesis, which is the communion with Christ and mature faith. The values coming from enrichment of school catechesis with organizing trips and pilgrimages will be shown on specific examples, including: deepening the relationship with God, giving witness to faith, growing children and young people in the world of evangelical values, community building.
