Synopsis

The text is an attempt to show the significance of searching for God’s presence in contemporary world. The basis for reflection comprises many texts and books written by John Paul II with a particular emphasis on his poetical creations as they do not only demonstrate diverse symbolic understanding of water, streams, springs etc., but also touch on the subject of God hidden from human sight, often inside a man himself. The starting point for the reflection is Roman Triptych and its interpretation is backed by texts written by different authors. Some points made in the stream of thoughts refer directly to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
