Contemporary education faces the necessity of re-evaluating traditional teaching methods and adopting approaches that promote active student engagement. Activating teaching methods rooted in constructivism, humanistic pedagogy, and Bloom’s taxonomy aim to foster critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and a deep understanding of subject matter. This chapter provides a systematic overview of the theoretical foundations, a classification of the most significant activating methods, and a discussion of their psychological and pedagogical dimensions.
